CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
Practice moving with intention and gentle awareness of the mind, the physical body and the emotions. Here, we use movement to "push" emotions out of the nervous system so that we can more easily still the mind. This unique class is suitable for all ages, body types and fitness levels. 

YOGA AND MAT PILATES
Offering various styles of yoga such as hatha, vinyasa, and gentle yoga for all levels, ages, and fitness abilities. Mat Pilates is a method which focuses on the abdominal muscles, also known as the "powerhouse," of the body. Mat Pilates is done with a yoga mat on the floor utilizing the weight of the body, or light equipment such as a Pilates ball or ring. Both methods will help to strengthen the body, improve posture, relax the nervous system, and center your mind.  

GROUP REFORMER PILATES 
The Pilates Reformer is the most popular Pilates apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates. It consists of a carriage that moves back and forth along tracks within a frame. The resistance is provided by the exerciser's body weight and by the Pilates secret sauce—a set of springs attached to both the carriage and the platform. Expect to see results within just a few sessions; a stronger core, improved posture, and increased flexibility, to name a few. Classes are thoughtfully designed for every body type, age, fitness level and ability.  

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Sports performance and injury prevention, neurological injury, orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation, and special populations exercise.  
Offering the highest level of personalized one-on-one care, this program has an integral and comprehensive evaluation, which focuses on patient education and careful guidance through the rehab process. One can expect active recovery strategies to get to the root of the existing injury and prevent further compensations. Whether you have pain, an acute or chronic injury, this physical therapy program is built to help you reach your goals efficiently and safely.   

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT COACHING
Functional Fitness, Corrective Exercise, Special Populations, Injury Prevention  
Helping others to achieve the best possible quality of life through sustainable movement patterns and creating full body awareness, our coaches can work with an array of ages, fitness levels, body types and abilities. Learn to mindfully move with purpose to prevent injury, find freedom, and to reach your performance aspirations. 

TRADITIONAL YOGA, MINDFUL MOVEMENT, MEDITATION AND BREATH WORK
Our mindful movement classes offer practical tools to apply to everyday life as you learn move with intention and purpose. Meditation and breath work are woven into all mind and body classes and can be offered as an individual class to provide tools for conscious awareness for improving one’s quality of life.  

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS AND HIIT
(high intensity interval training)
For athletes and fitness gurus, these classes will take your fitness to the next level by challenging your body and pushing your mental limits. Build stronger muscles and improve your stability and mobility. These classes are built for all fitness levels with modifications available.  

GROUP CYCLING
Improve your cardiovascular endurance, stamina, and overall fitness with the motivation from professionally trained road cyclists as your instructor. Cycling is a great low impact workout that allows you to adjust your resistance as needed and set your own pace. With a power monitor screen to track and measure your progress, you will be able to set new goals for yourself each time you ride.

BARRE FIT
Is a rigorous workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, pilates, and yoga. 

BODY SCULP
Take your workout to the next level by adding light handheld weights. Move to the rhythm of the music with high intensity, total body movements and strengthen the body and mind with this fun and dynamic class. Suitable for all fitness levels with modifications offered. 

CROSS TRAINING
Test your limits and mix it up. Get your heart pumping by challenging yourself with different cardiovascular and strength training exercises. Classes vary using your own body weight, medicine balls, battle ropes, weights, bands and more.
A total body workout with maximum results. 

DANCE
Instructors plan easy-to-follow choreography that keeps participants moving in an effort to raise their heart rates. This style of cardio dance is the type that’s been known to take over the world. 

TRX
Our TRX class uses a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.
